Sometimes it stinks that Andy can fix anything. Well, anything as far as I’m concerned. The junker of a lawn mower will be around for years to come, my Stratus’ body will rust out before anything under the hood permanently dies, and forget about a cute HE washer or dryer any time in the future. However he’s managed to save the nice fridge from death, computer hard drives, snow blower and lets not forget about the 42″ plasma tv from the dump.

We need to start saving for another vehicle that we’ll inevitably need in 5 or so years though. I might take Andy’s Explorer while he gets a truck, we’re not entirely sure (and our needs could change in 5 years). As of right now a truck would be awesome for all the house stuff and the Explorer could certainly fulfill any baby/kid transportation needs. Not that the truck would be my vehicle…but I do have this thing about women in trucks. It’s pretty great, haha, maybe it’s just a power thing. Or an ‘I could smush you but I choose not to’ thing.

Either way my requirement is a 4 wheel drive vehicle for myself in winter, I’ve ended up on the side of the road too many times in the little Stratus. Another car would be nice for better gas mileage but we really don’t put that many miles on our vehicles during the year so it’s not a huge consideration. Kind of fun to think about any way. The new car thing, not the spending money on it. And by new I mean at least 5 years old of course.
