Yes, THE post you’ve been waiting for, lol. So this is the before, when all the baby stuff was in there with my desk still. Kind of looks like an episode of Hoarders…

And now here’s what it looks like scrubbed down and all set up for baby B…

Furniture isn’t exactly matchy matchy but it looks really pulled together with what we had and the wonderful crib bedding, valence and quilt Andy’s mom made. My mom made the quilt hanging on the side of the crib. My sister Gabby surprised me with the awesome painting (I asked for not too cutesy) and she delivered! All the Dr. Seuss themed books and stuffed animals I received at my shower (thanks Danielle) are on the dresser. We put up a bulletin board in the closet and I’ve tacked up some ultrasound pics and little notes we’ve received. The other closet (closed one) still has all our Christmas wrapping paper, board games, my art supplies and random things in it ;-) Only thing left is to put a small table in by the rocking chair.

I’m so thankful for my friend Tracy who scrubbed the floors, walls and furniture in the nursery last week. My mom gave up a day to help wash, organize and set things up too! It was harder than I thought to just sit there and be loved on (after all I had nothing to give back but thank yous and a hug). I think everyone should be lucky enough to be in that vulnerable position sometime though, it was really really awesome.
