You’ve started crawling! It’s still a little awkward and you get frustrated sometimes, but you’re definitely doing it! You seem to like your new independence and enjoy exploring whenever you can get the arms and legs working together.
No teeth or copying words yet, but you do babble. You also make this funny clicking sound with your tongue and like to heave big sighs a lot. When we were at the doctor’s office, she was going over the list of things to expect in the next few months and you let out this huge sigh like you were so bored with the conversation.
We still nurse in the morning when you wake up, once mid-afternoon and then right before bed. You have two or three meals of solids during the day. You’ve tried carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, oatmeal, rice, bananas, applesauce and avocados. You’re not really a fan of the peas, but applesauce seems to help.
I’d have to say your favorite toy is the hair tie on my wrist or any kind of string you can get. Whether it’s the laptop power cord (ahh!), straps to your carseat and highchair or the kitty toy. The toddler cups, bowls and plates seem to be a hit to chew on too. So easy to please, hehe.
