I love, love, love the movement and rhythm in these sketches. It makes me drool, and want to “create” something. I design things all day; websites, logos, illustrations, etc but haven’t made art in who knows how long. To me design has purpose and meaning, it’s about solving problems and presenting solutions in a visual manner. But art, art doesn’t have to have a purpose (it can – but doesn’t have to). I want to sketch, just because. I want to paint, because it makes me happy. I want to quilt, because it’s beautiful.

Now I just need to turn off the TV and do something about it!
