Boy this has been blog-mania the past few days…
I finished some outside projects this weekend, weeded out a few flower beds and got our garden ready for transplants. I guess I’m just discouraged by how much there is left to do, and by how little I can accomplish before I get wiped out. I almost feel like I’m wasting the last few daylight hours of the weekend because I’m just too tired and sore from working outside. I know it’s all for a good reason (growing a baby), I’m just bummed that my motivation gets trumped by my lack of endurance.
I did plant the rhubarb Andy’s parents gave us. I hope to fill up the other garden squares tomorrow night and get things growing :) We started seedlings inside and there was a kitty attack (bad Jack). The carrots took the most hits, but everything else seems to have survived.
I’m also wondering how much people actually get done outside and around the house with little ones? I mean how do you successfully work outside, without a fenced yard while having a toddler? At least when they’re little you can stick ’em in a playpen or stroller while you work…but once they’re mobile…AH!
I’ll leave you with this mystery project Andy’s working on.
