This memorial weekend we had Andy’s family over and got a lot accomplished on the house. These aren’t awesome pictures, I think I was just too tired to put the effort in, but you can see what we worked on! We were so thankful for the company and help :)
Back of garage was sided, the wood looked like this before.
And during. The wood ‘towers’ in front are to stack our firewood, they go back against the garage. The garage looks bigger now because of the horizontal lines of the siding vs the vertical lines. Neat!
Our house used to be on well water, and here’s what was left of it.
Then Andy put my birthday present together with the help of his dad and brother.
It still needs to be stained and the antique pump attached to the pipe. I’ll be able to use it to water the flowerbeds and garden!
My office was framed in and Andy did the electrical work. He needs to finish insulation and run an air vent into the room. Then it’s ready for drywall! There is a storage room in the back where the freezer and shelving units will go. We really need it because we don’t have a real attic or basement.
Andy’s mom and I painted the sunporch too. It’s more of a grey-blue than baby blue, but again I was just lazy with the images.
