So it’s been a while since I’ve planned meals weekly, and I really want to get back into it. It just makes dinner time so much easier when it rolls around and we don’t end up having canned ravioli or boxed mac and cheese all the time. Not that there’s anything wrong with macaroni and cheese, it’s just supposed to be more of a side dish I think???
This week I found Tasty Planner and I have to say it’s 90% of what I want in a meal planning/recipe program. And it’s FREE!
Right now I’m working on entering all my recipes that are on two different computers, random note cards and stray sheets of paper. It’s important for me to have everything in one place that I can access from anywhere. I can organize recipes by category (breakfast, dessert, side dish, etc) as well as browse through hundreds of other recipes and add them to my Recipe Box. And then I can add them to a weekly meal planner by just clicking and dragging. Very cool, and really has inspired me to think of dinner options ahead of time and plan meals for hubby and I again.
