Where’d our little baby go? Cassidy definitely seems like such a toddler now; new words (ball), imitating (she wanted to wear a backpack like Ben) and reaching from couch to table to guide herself along the livingroom. Super cute in overalls too!

We spent part of a week in the Adirondacks with my dad, Leslie and Chris. Their doggie Sadie and kitty Prim also joined us in a cabin on Pleasant Lake, a little lake next to Brantingham Lake. There was much hiking, canoeing, fishing, geocaching, swimming, picnicing and family time spent together. We had fun and the kids were pretty good but it was definitely nice to have a lot of hands to help. Vacations with kids are never quite relaxing :)

I got to meet Andy’s cousins and their kiddos for the first time last week. They live in South Carolina and our paths had never crossed before. They happened to be visiting Andy’s parents so I took the kids in (unfortunately Andy had to work) to meet them.

Thought I should give you Cassidy’s 12 month info along with her birthday party pics. She weighs 18lbs 3oz, peanut has gained a little over 10lbs in her first year (she was born at 7lbs 7oz). She’s in 9-12mo clothes and I’m thinking will switch over to 12mo soon.
She eating everything, favorite being beans, peas, fish, cheeseburger, peaches, blueberries and tomatoes. We still nurse 2 or 3 times a day (in the morning, before nap and bed). Depending what time she gets up, she might take one or two naps during the day.
She’s crawling all over and pulls herself up on furniture. She’ll hang onto the coffee table or couch and cruise along. Sometimes she lets go for a minute and then plops on her butt. If you give her your hands she gets super excited and walks proudly while hanging on.
She’s got a few words now: dada (daddy), beh (ben), puh (up), hi, mama, eee (kitty) and a noise that sounds like tickle tickle when you’re tickling her. She also says dis/dat (this/that) while pointing at something.
She dances and wiggles to music and tries to sing along with a song on one of her toys, super cute. Little lady LOVES playing with her pile of shoes and tries to put them on her feet. They usually don’t stay on for long when I put them on though. She also likes pulling laundry out of her basket and putting it back, then pulling it out again.
