Two posts in one day, amazing! They just didn’t seem to fit together so I figured I’d write separate ones. I’m happy to report I actually cut fabric last night for a new quilt. I already have one I’m working on (don’t get too excited, it’s my first quilt and it’s just a series of light, medium and dark squares.) For my second quilt I plan on doing a variation of the log cabin pattern, nothing too funky quite yet :) The fabric has blues and greys with some fun filigree and patterns. When it’s finished (like 3 years from now) it’ll go in the sunporch which will be painted a steel blue color.

On an extra happy side note, I was asked to be a bridesmaid for a really good friend of mine. *squeal* SO EXCITED for her :) October 2010 will be here before you know it!
