Although at times it drives me nuts that we’re living in half our house, other times I get so freakin’ excited at the progress! Ok it may not look like much to you, but this little sunporch has come lightyears since we bought the house two and a half years ago. Insulation and real windows are a few of the new additions :) There’s still a bit of work that needs to be done…Andy needs to put in air ducts because there’s no vents/heat to the room unless we open the french doors. And then it needs more than one electrical outlet. And finally drywall, spackle, tile, and paint. Hope the sunporch feels the love!

The before was just awkward (outside picture has WAY too many elements going on to look cohesive), uninsulated, infested with ants, rotting, unheated, stained and just plain ugly.

Outside image is a few months old, as there’s a roof over the little part that juts out on the right, trim is a nicer green and there are a bit more flowers in the flower bed. Well, now there’s nothing as snow has taken over…but in the spring there will be flowers!

ps – Andy’s dad found those french doors in the garbage. Seriously, the hardware was on them and everything!
