Lego!

We saw the new Toy Story legos while out shopping the other day, aren’t they adorable?! I grew up with lego toys and love them. We had pirates, knights, aquanauts, space and later on the Indiana Jones and Star Wars ones. Even though at that point we were teenagers, you’re never too old to appreciate Legos. Andy grew up with the bricks and techy/robot legos…but I still love the little character ones the best.

On an unrelated note, we’re officially ditching Dish Network. Sorry Dish, it’s nothing personal…it’s just that our $40/month for the beginners package could be spent elsewhere. We’re going to pick up Netflix for $9/month. I could do without TV/cable altogether (and get my lazy butt off the couch) but the Mr. needs it in some capacity. He built an awesome Home Theatre PC (htpc) with Windows Media Center and I’m pretty darn impressed. So the htpc with access to Hulu, along with Netflix is going to be the new thing around here. Netflix lets you stream a bunch of the TV shows we watch anyway, so it’s kind of a no brainer at this point. Now if only we could do something about the cost of Time Warner and the interwebz.

And I figured I should do a ‘baby update’ since that’s the popular topic these days :) I’m 10 weeks now and jeans are starting to get tight, I need to get some larger sizes. I don’t really need maternity clothes, I’m just getting pretty uncomfortable and squished when sitting down. I’m also having a hard time eating the fruits/veggies I’m supposed to every day. I was never a hurray-veggies person to begin with (is anyone?) so it’s been an effort. I’m also starving every 2 hours and am constantly eating small meals throughout the day. We get to hear the heart beat in 2 weeks (April 8) and I’m really excited about that.
