This weekend we finished the floor in the sunporch, it’s all tiled and grouted. Thanks to Andy working on it every night this week and our friend Chris who came and helped with grout yesterday. It looks great, I’m so excited!

We recovered gracefully from the misadventure of not getting enough tile, and then finding out the manufacturer doesn’t even make it any more. Special order tile filled in the gaps and you can’t even tell the difference between old and new. Now all it needs is floor and window trim. And outlet covers, closet doors, closet storage racks, a threshold…but…bah, they’re just details! As soon as the trim is up I’m moving my office into the room, and freeing up the nursery for baby stuff. My “real” office is in the 2×4 and insulation stage directly below the sunporch, I’ll get down there eventually :)
