I took another quilt class yesterday (because you know, I finished the project from my first class………) Speaking of that class, I realized I never posted the last few blocks I made. I actually pieced them all together with the lattice strips and cut out the batting and backing. I want to try and hand quilt at least one of the blocks and then I’ll probably machine quilt the rest. My mom is teaching me how to hand quilt and gave me a hoop and so far it’s going, slow :)

Yesterday’s class was learning machine applique on tea towels. I’m not sure if I’d keep making tea towels, but I could definitely see myself using the technique on quilts. The class was a good learning experience even though my project turned out kind of pathetic :)
