This weekend Ben and I went to a Duplo party at a friend’s house. It was a nice mom/kid hang out time with a few fun activities. Each family got a Duplo set to bring home which contained blocks and a book to go along with the set. Ours was a farm theme and Ben loves putting together the pig, cow, rooster and sheep (with a little help). He gets very concerned when the pig’s head or rooster’s tail falls off and starts a chorus of “Oh no.”

This is serious business, mom.

He also confuses the cow with the sheep because the sheep is black and white and he’s usually just seen cows portrayed as black and white (not brown, like with the blocks). So for right now, the sheep says “moo.”
