Somebody was Yoda for Halloweenie. He even played with the lightsaber I had from when I was a kid.
We went to the Harvest Party our church puts on. Now, I have nothing against Halloween or trick or treating, it’s just that if I were a kid…all the games, activities, slides and bounce houses at the church look like way more fun than walking around in the cold. Not to mention we kind of live on a busy street with no sidewalks. I think the Harvest Party was still a bit too advanced for a two year old (he couldn’t really play any of the games and seemed scared of the giant bounce houses), but we still had fun walking around and seeing everyone else’s costumes. There was a little boy dressed up as Boba Fett (another Star Wars character) and when he saw Ben he pointed and shouted “Baby Yoda!” Haha :)
After church we went around to our immediate neighbors to say hi. They know Ben and were excited to see him in his little costume. After Ben went to bed I dressed up in some of my dad’s old Air Force fatigues, put a little war paint on (brown eyeliner) and headed to Chipotle. You could get a $2 burrito if you showed up in a costume. Yum!
