They were so big and juicy, we couldn’t stop picking them! Now I’ve made 9 jars of jelly, pies, blackberry whip, juice and I still have a few more cups in the refrigerator I’ll make another pie with. The jelly didn’t turn out as clear as I was hoping, but it’s still beautiful and tastes sweet and tart at the same time. The blackberry whip was especially fun to try! When he was a kid, Andy’s mom used to make fruit whips with the foam skimmed from jelly and I thought I’d try it. All you do is add an egg white and whip it for a few minutes with the mixer. Only lasts a few days in the fridge, but it’s soooo good!
