Actually, I kind of consider last year my first Mother’s Day ;-) But I suppose it’s my first Mother’s Day with Ben on the outside. Yesterday Andy surprised me with flowers and my mom and Paul visited for a bit (also with flowers).

Then today, Ben actually slept in until 8:30, so mama got to sleep in too! We went to the late service at church and then I went shopping by myself this afternoon. For clothes, not groceries :) My favorite part of the day though was this evening. We picked up some caramel frappuccinos and headed to Mendon Ponds Park for a few geocaches. It was so beautiful out, Andy wore Ben in the baby carrier and it was kind of just one of those perfect little family moments.

Oh! And today marks another important event. It’s the first time I garbage picked on my own, hehe. I pulled over to grab a wooden activity cube similar to this one. Andy was so proud!
