Convertible cribs are a joke, especially if you have to buy the $100 conversion kit separate. They only work with full mattresses, and seriously who has room to let their kid have a full? They don’t work with twin mattresses. Plus what if you have more than one kid? Kid #2 needs a crib, but kid #1 is in the expensive convertible bed. Do you buy a second convertible? Silliness!

I passed my blood glucose test, so yay no gestational diabetes for me!

I really really want to like pickles, it makes me sad that I don’t like them. They seem like such a fun, yummy, crunchy snack. We’re going to have way too many cucumbers in the garden, and they look so pretty when canned.

Andy was on a trail near his work over lunch time and saw Willie Nelson go by on his bike. Then he saw the tour bus parked at the hotel that’s in the same business park. Turns out he’s playing a show here tonight. Andy thought “Gee that looks like…” and sure enough!

Andy felt baby move for the first time this week. He said it felt weird…yes, yes it does. He thought it was pretty cool though!

I’m loving the slightly cooler weather, it’s getting me excited for fall. My favorite season (although it inevitably leads to winter). I’m extra excited we’ll have a little bundle to share the awesome season with this year. My kid is totally going to have a farm birthday party when he’s older.

Andy and I haven’t really talked about trick or treating. Or Santa or the Tooth Fairy or any of those “parts” of childhood.

I’m seeing a different Dr. at each of my monthly baby appointments, just to meet them all since any one of eight could be on call when it’s that time. The one I saw today was H-O-T…am I allowed to say that? Not really my type…I prefer tall, dark and face stubbly (Mr. Andy) but my goodness. And then it got me thinking, what makes a guy want to go into that field? And then I just stopped, because, well I didn’t want to think about it anymore. I’m sure he’s a very nice guy and a fine doctor.
