I’m so bad about doing “crafty” things with Ben. We color, do playdoh, legos, etc but I just find it hard to plan cute little projects. Andy had a roll of brown packing paper downstairs and I got inspired. We traced Ben’s outline onto the paper and had him color on some clothes and decorate with stamps and stickers.

He actually surprised me, I’ve just seen him scribble before but this time he drew his hat, eyes, mouth and nose. I drew the outline of his shirt, but he decided it should be green (like what he was wearing) and colored in the middle with green marker.

He’s giving himself some shoes.

Cutie :) I just got a glimpse of his 17 year old self.

Ben fell asleep watching YouTube videos with Andy. So cute.

This was the first year we dyed eggs with Ben for Easter. He did great and had a ton of fun!

We had such a nice Easter Sunday with family this year. Ben found his basket in 0.5 seconds and ripped into it quicker than that.

Justin, Kate, Gabby, my mom, Paul and Andy’s parents came to our house for dinner. We did it potluck style, Andy and I provided the ham and cheesy potatoes and everyone else brought a dish too.

After dinner we visited in the livingroom and somehow all ended up watching Frozen together. Plaid buddies!

Colby even snuggled up on the couch too.

Before Gabby left we sent her home with our old vacuum cleaner. Ok, sounds weird and gross…but hers broke and ours actually still works, we just replaced it with a better one. Yes, that’s family love for you, giving away your old vacuum cleaner.

Our little peanut weighs 15lbs 11oz and is in the 4%. She’s 26″ long (6%) but has a head circumference in the 74% :) She army crawls in circles and backwards but hasn’t figured out forwards yet. She claps and waves too, it’s super cute. If you ask her “where’s your tongue” she sometimes sticks it out for you too. We’re working on “So big!” Baby tricks aside, she is such a sweet little girl…smiley, bright and bubbly. She’s very dramatic though and will definitely let you know if she doesn’t like something.
She has four teeth and is pretty much eating whatever we eat. Her favorites are cottage cheese, chicken and peas. She’s mastered the sippy cup although doesn’t really seem that interested in it. Still not sleeping through the night, but thankfully naps have gotten better. Sometimes I can even get a two hour nap out of her in the afternoon.
And now, way too many pictures of Cassidy :)
