Becky and Jared were married two weeks ago in Letchworth.

We had the rehearsal and dinner in the park.

Ben was a little crazy man during rehearsal, climbing on rocks and kicking up dirt.

Becky’s nieces were so the opposite.

Cassidy just came along for the ride.

It was a beautiful night.

Wedding post coming next :)

This cracks me up and should have been with Cassidy’s 2 month update.

If you leave her alone for a little bit and then come back and start talking to her, she lights right up. Crazy eyes, big gummy smile and a squeak <3
I am so backed up on blog posts, but I wanted to get Cassidy’s 2 month photos up before she isn’t 2 months anymore!

She’s been such a good baby so far, I’m really enjoying her. She’s happy and alert most of the day, starting to coo and talk too. She does tend to get a little crabby around supper time, but nothing too bad. She has no interest in the pacifier and just spits it out, so the easiest way to soothe her is to walk walk walk.
She hasn’t really developed any napping patterns during the day yet, but sleeps amazingly at night. We put her down at 7:30 when Ben goes to bed and I usually only have to feed her once around 1am before she wakes up again at 7:00am. So incredibly lucky! She has actually gone a full 12 hours some nights too, no joke. We’ve been swaddling and using white noise, but I never thought I’d get lucky with another great sleeper.
She’s eating great, nursing every 2-3 hours. She’s taking the bottle fairly well now too (I finally found one she’s happy with). She weighs 10lbs 8.5oz and is 50th percentile for height. 75th for head circumference, haha Ben had a big head at all his check ups too. She rolled over from tummy to back at 6 weeks.

The girl who cuts my hair also does Ben’s whenever it’s getting too long. Last week I wondered how hard could this really be? I use the clippers to trim Andy’s hair and thought I could try the same thing for Ben. Big mistake! He did not want to sit still and freaked out that all the hair was sticking to him. He kept crying “Mommy I don’t like it.” To his credit, he did listen and stay in the chair the entire time. He survived, we had a bath after and everything was just fine. However I think I’ll just pay my hairdresser the $5 to cut his hair from now on.

Lately I’ve been feeling like I’m treading water and getting nowhere. I think it’s just the newborn phase in general, added to taking care of an almost three year old, working part time and trying to maintain the house. I was having a pity party the other day and feeling like I was going to be wiping noses and butts f.o.r.e.v.e.r (exaggerate much?)
Then this happened.

I wish the pictures were a little better but they still make me smile. He ‘read’ her a story and then showed her Bear and Moose (who also wanted to give her kisses).

Casey turned one a few weeks ago!

The theme was “mustaches” for the little man’s day.

Everyone got in on the action.

Birthday boy with his mommy.

Easton had fun playing in the backyard.

So did Ben. Yeah, he was that sweaty.
