Sheesh, you’d think all we did around here was baby stuff. Well yeah, kind of ;-) Ben had his 2 week pediatrician appointment on Friday and is doing great. He passed his birth weight and is 7lbs 14oz although I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s passed 8lbs now. He’s a squirmy little worm and has pretty good control of his neck already. His eyes are grey right now, it’ll be interesting to see if they turn brown like Andy’s or blue like mine.

He’s nursing well, although sometimes gets a little vicious – ouch! He’s also sleeping pretty well and only wakes up once or twice during the night to eat. We’re SO thankful he’s a pretty low key dude. He does have fussy moments during the day and sometimes wants to eat every hour (instead of his usual every three). The kid can also poo like nobody’s business, it’s pretty impressive (read disgusting). He’s a great baby though, I think Andy and I are somewhat spoiled. Rumor has it he’ll make up for it when he’s 2 but I hope not!

As for me, my blood pressure has been going down (still medium high though). I’ll be on medicine for the next few weeks to help bring it down lower.
