Andy actually had enough ambition to carve a pumpkin this year (I slept through most of carving time). He also made a really cool LED glowing box “thing” for inside his pumpkin that lit up different colors, faded in and out and flashed on and off in a seizure like manner.

My dad, Leslie, Justin and Kate also visited and my dad met Ben for the first time. Grandma and Grandpa Lute, so weird, that’s what I called MY grandparents and now it’s my dad and Leslie. My brother Justin was still too shy to hold Ben, he’s going to have to eventually though :)

We dressed Ben up and took him to meet a few neighbors that were home. Andy said we should have used his cuteness to get candy, but we took the higher road instead. At my Lockport baby shower I’d received a really cute pumpkin outfit for Ben in hopes he’d arrive before the 31st. I tried the outfit on him and his noggin was too big for the hat and he kept kicking the little pumpkin shoes off. I did use the pants with another shirt my friend Heather gave me though. I’m also learning that babies are fast, if you want to get non blurry pictures of them you must be even faster…
