Cassidy had the chance to do a dance class through daycare. She only goes one day a week but they were so great, scheduling the class on the days she came. The recital was held a few weeks ago in Brockport and it was kind of the cutest thing ever! Cass was so excited to wear her outfit, Ben told her she looked “so beautiful” when she came out of the bathroom with it on. Shhh, don’t tell anyone I had to pinterest how to do ballerina hair.
Cassidy’s little friend Graham from daycare was also in the performance, he was so cute! I’m so thankful my mom, Paul and Andy’s parents were able to join in Cassidy’s special day. We enjoyed ice cream together afterwards too!

After we saw Beauty and the Beast at the Palace (MONTHS ago) we visited Justin and Kate. We’d actually missed Brielle’s birthday in February because we were all sick, so we came with birthday presents. We hung out, the kids played for a bit and we shared some pizza.

Love this family!

Gabby still had her eyebrows on from the show :)

Reading time with Aunt Gabby!

For Andy’s birthday this year (back in January!) I got a groupon for cider tasting and two growlers at Blue Toad Hard Cider. We met friends there before we left for Hawaii and had a fun time hanging out. It’s so hard to get out and do date nights but I’m always really glad when we do!

We’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather this week! The kids love playing outside barefoot, or as Cassidy calls it “wearing her feet” :) I don’t mind too much, a quick wipe down with a wash cloth and they’re good to go when we come inside. I remember running around barefoot when I was 7 or 8 and I stepped on a bee though (I haven’t told them this). Hopefully they don’t get to live that experience!
Cassidy still doesn’t like getting her picture taken. And Ben enjoys hamming it up for the camera.

Every once in a while we get ourselves to the Home Depot project for kids. This one happened to be the weekend before Easter and the kids made little Easter baskets. If we’re being honest, Andy and I did all the hammering and the kids just painted their project :)
